Blow Bugle Boy Blow! - bet that gets your attention!

Hornblower available in 22K gold
over sterling, tradition silver or gunmetal
finishes on 18" chain.

When I found this beautiful bronze I was over the moon with excitement! It is a garment applique from the 18th century. A page in Renaissance costume blows his horn to announce the fabulousness of this new addition to Knight&Hammer's trenta. I've curved the disc to create a conversation piece ring with signature Knight&Hammer shank. The filigree work is magnificent and the ring is incredibly comfortable to wear. I hate to blow my own horn but this ring is a must-have!

A dramatic ring announcing how fabulous you are! Shown in Traditional Silver finish.

Knight&Hammer's trenta Little Miracles

trenta Little Miracles Sacred Heart,
gold-dipped over sterling 18" necklace
The indigenous people of Mexico, Central & South America have been sewing 'little miracles' on the garments worn by the saint statues at their local parishes, since converted by Franciscan Missionaries in the 15th century. Originally thin silver, copper or gold was hammered into repoussé wood molds to create prayer requests that were pinned or sewn on to the garments of church's saint statures. I am fortunate enough to have a dear friend who has collected these charms since childhood. She allowed me to select a group of them to be molded to create the trenta Little Miracles collection! Taking ancient answered prayers and recreating them as talisman for today's warrior!

One of my favorites from trenta Little Miracles collection - Baby 'Ace' & a Baby Lamb!
All charms are available in 22K gold-dipped over sterling, traditional silver or gunmetal finishes.

Where have you been, Mr. Knight?

Since September, I have been very busy creating 16 new necklace designs, 6 new rings and 2 new pair of earrings all in anticipation of the re-opening of hitchcock Madrona! It has been, as always, a wonderfully rewarding journey.  Discovering Napoleonic era shoe ornaments inspired the Empress Bee and Cicada mini-collection for trenta. The Empress Bee has an impressive almost 2" wingspan. The Empress Cicada and Bee bodies are roughly an inch in size.  I've been wearing my 22K gold dipped Empress Bee ring everyday. I feel like a magnificent bee is perched on my pointer finger, ready to attack any ill-wishers. These majestic insects have been translated into rings, earrings and necklaces, with a bracelet planned for Spring 2011 and a brooch in time for Christmas.  Collection premieres at hitchcock Madrona on November 20, 2010!

BodyRocking LOVE!

It was like a fairytale... the Prince dashes off to Lake Como, Italy to propose to his beautiful Princess...

And as always the Prince had the help and support of his Knight! This Knight happened to also be his private jeweler. This Princess was no ordinary princess and needed an engagement ring for the ages. This beautiful symbol of their love captures the color pink that adorns her lips - lips that speak words of encouragement, love & hope. The ring is made of platinum - strong like her Prince and the flawless white diamonds glitter like their passion - a billion stars in the Knightsky!

Congrtulations Kelly & Andrew!

JEWEL OF THE DAY - HOUSTON WE'VE MADE CONTACT...

I just couldn't wait to share this new addition to the Knight&Hammer George Collection. As a child, I loved the astronauts of the ‘60’s and ‘70’s, and in the ‘80's the MTV Spaceman sparked my generation’s imagination. The idea of space travel still fascinates me, so I've created Buzz and Glenn. Buzz is a small charm astronaut (pictured) and Glenn is a larger standing astronaut – both were inspired by vintage toys. I could not be happier with these designs as they embody the whimsical spirit of the George Collection.

This ring is a sneak peek at what is landing at hitchcock Madrona in early July.

Imagine it…a beautiful, bright, sterling silver ode to the heyday of space travel. Whether floating on a ring, suspended on a necklace, or bobbing on a bracelet, one of these spacemen is for you.

Initial quantities are limited, so call Erica at hitchcock Madrona now to secure yours.

JEWEL OF THE DAY - Water's Hope

JEWEL OF THE DAY - Water's Hope - Jewelry designer and longtime FOKAL supporter, Joseph Knight collaborated with glass artist, Kiva Ford to capture the hope of fresh drinking water in permanent suspension. Their joint venture, “Water's Hope” symbolizes a drop of water, a blooming flower and an ancient symbol of protection. Kiva Ford has been taming glass for years. Graduating with a degree in scientific glassblowing, he is one of only a handful in the country with the ability to create precise instruments. His passion for glass is reflected in the intricacy of his designs and his ongoing effort to push the boundaries of traditional glass art. $50 from the purchase of this necklace directly supports www.FOKAL-USA.org. 16” sterling necklace $195.00
